And with no more than 6 guests per vehicle and 20 guests total in each group you’ll experience distinguished service by your professional Tour Director and experienced Driver/Guide. Visit the Serengeti ecosystem, one of Africa’s premier safari destinations, which includes the famed Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. This region is home to the annual wildebeest migration and has one of the world’s highest concentrations of large mammals. Keep an eye out for lion, Cape buffalo, cheetah, leopard, hyena, elephant, giraffe, rhino, and more on your many game drives. We have arranged exclusive bush breakfasts for you in both the Serengeti and Maasai Mara, a truly included unique experience! A full-day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater offers you the best possibility of seeing the rare black rhinoceros, while your best chance to get close to giant elephants is in the swamps of Amboseli National Park. Explore Lake Manyara National Park, home to many species, including elephant, giraffe, and the highest concentration of baboons in the world. End your safari adventure with an unforgettable farewell dinner in the bush with traditional Maasai dancers! So, what are you waiting for? Book this amazing Africa safari today!

Day 1 Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania
Welcome to Africa! Check in to your hotel and prepare for your adventure!

South Africa Day 2 Arusha–Lake Manyara National Park–Ngorongoro Crater
Today, drive south to LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. This small park is ecologically diverse, with groundwater forests, grassy plains, and alkaline Lake Manyara itself. A GAME DRIVE in the park affords the opportunity to see elephant, giraffe, zebra, and Cape buffalo. The park is also home to the world’s largest concentration of baboon. Afterward, take in spectacular views of Lake Manyara during a special Local Favorite BUSH LUNCH. Continue on to the rim of NGORONGORO CRATER, which is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area. (B,L,D)

Day 3 Ngorongoro
Descend into the crater for a FULL-DAY GAME DRIVE. Ngorongoro Crater is technically a caldera—the world’s largest unflooded one, in fact, at more than 2,000 feet deep with a floor covering over 102 square miles. Game viewing here is fantastic, as most of the animals stay in this area year round. You can see lion, Cape buffalo, hippo, elephant, and flamingo. This is also your best chance to see the rare black rhinoceros. A picnic lunch will be served in the crater. (B,L,D)

Day 4 Ngorongoro–Serengeti National Park
This morning, depart Ngorongoro Crater for SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK, Tanzania’s largest and most famous park. Home to the annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra, generally between late November and July, it attracts visitors from around the world and is great for game viewing year round. Enjoy lunch at your lodge before an AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE. (B,L,D)

The Great Migration is a natural event, and the exact arrival/departure of the migrating herds varies slightly from year to year.

Day 5 Serengeti
Rise early for a MORNING GAME DRIVE and search for the “Big 5”—lion, leopard, Cape buffalo, elephant, and rhino—as well as an abundance of other animals, including cheetah, giraffe, gazelle, and eland. Afterward, a special Globus Local Favorite BUSH BREAKFAST has been arranged for you. Sip on a mimosa as you savor every moment of the memorable experience! Return to your lodge and relax prior to your AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Serengeti
The Serengeti covers an area of roughly 5,700 square miles, so it is no surprise that the name comes from the Maasai word siringit, meaning “endless plains.” Continue exploring this vast park during MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES. Between game drives, enjoy some down time at your lodge. Before dinner, relish SUNDOWNER DRINKS in the bush as the sun sets over this magnificent landscape. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Serengeti–Arusha–Amboseli National Park, Kenya
This morning, transfer to the airstrip for a flight back to Arusha. After lunch, drive north to the border and cross into Kenya. Continue on to AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK, best known for spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa at some 19,341 feet. (B,L,D)

Day 8 Amboseli
MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES are included today. Amboseli affords you a great opportunity to get close to the mighty elephant. You might also spot Cape buffalo, zebra, wild dog, giraffe, and more. Relax at your lodge during the heat of the day. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Amboseli–Maasai Mara National Reserve
This morning, transfer to the airstrip for your flight (via Nairobi) to MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE, Kenya’s most famous game area. “The Mara,” as it is called by locals, is part of the Serengeti ecosystem and boasts a strong permanent population of game. When the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra arrives, generally from August to early November, the population enlarges by almost 2 million. This provides a great food source for predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena. After lunch at your camp, set out on an AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE. (B,L,D)

The Great Migration is a natural event, and the exact arrival/departure of the migrating herds varies slightly from year to year.

Day 10 Maasai Mara
Rise early for a MORNING GAME DRIVE. Be sure to watch for elephant, rhino, giraffe, topi, hyena, and much more. Before returning to camp, stop for a special Local Favorite BUSH BREAKFAST overlooking a hippo pool in the Mara River. Return to your camp for time at leisure prior to an AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE. (B,L,D)

Day 11 Maasai Mara
Further explore this magical place on MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES. Tonight, join your traveling companions for a Local Favorite FAREWELL BUSH DINNER and a Globus Local Favorite TRADITIONAL MAASAI DANCE PERFORMANCE—the perfect way to end your safari! (B,L,D)

Day 12 Maasai Mara–Nairobi–Homebound Flight
Today, fly back to Nairobi, where your tour ends with lunch at the famed Carnivore restaurant. We have secured a day room for you at the Ole Sereni Hotel before a transfer to the airport for your late-evening flight. Book homebound flights after 5 pm. (B,L)
